The Wichita Force (4-8) will travel to meet the Duke City Gladiators (10-2) for the fourth time this season, in the first round of the playoffs. The Force have not had a lot of luck against the Gladiators during the regular season averaging a loss by 14 points, but gradually improving against them. The Gladiators have dominated the South Division for much of the entire season, running neck and neck with the Amarillo Venom before eventually getting the wins that put them alone at the top first in the Southern division than the league. The Force has a nine and a half hour bus ride to Albuquerque, but that is not deterring their determination nor enthusiasm for the upcoming game. “We traveled there earlier in the season, so we have an idea of what to expect and how to deal with the bus ride and their home field advantage. We have a great attitude knowing in the locker room, everyone is upbeat and ready to make the record 1-3 against Duke City.” stated Force Wide Receiver D.A. Allen. The Force and Gladiators will play in Tingley Coliseum at 6pm MST on Saturday June 16th. The game will be broadcast on Pluto Tv.
