The Texas Revolution (5-7) will travel to Amarillo (8-4) for a matchup against the Venom for the second time in as many weeks, but this time in the first round of the playoffs. Don't let the win/loss stat make your decision before hand though. The Revolution struggled in the first part of the season, but as coaching changes were made, the Revolution began coming on strong when it really mattered as shown in their 2 wins and 1 loss against Amarillo alone. Stats show a lot, like the mistakes Amarillo had made when playing the Revs, but most don't realize is that there have been key players missing in each of the games against the Revolution. “We finally have our full team. We've never played the Revolution with every piece. Another factor is we're at home and we don't plan on losing at home. We've beat ourselves every time we've lost to them and I believe we have every thing covered with Raymond (Johnson Jr.), Xavier (Amey), and Jordan (DeCorte) back, I don't see us losing.” stated Venom Center Bernard Flores. The game takes place on the unconventional night of Monday, June 18th with a start time of 7pm CST. Tickets start at $7 and Curious George, courtesy of Panhandle PBS will be on hand for the kids to visit. The game will be broadcast on Pluto TV.
