Amarillo, Texas - The Amarillo Venom will be traveling to Albuquerque, New Mexico Saturday for not only bragging rights, but also the top spot in the CIF Southern Division. Anyone looking at the current stats would think they are seeing double because the two teams are so close in every regard with their stats. The biggest difference is Duke City has a running game that they use often and effectively as well as their passing, that doesn't worry the Venom defense however. "We have been preparing to play a full game on defense, offense and special teams! If we do that we will be successful in the end. We will be ready." Stated Terrious Triplett, Defensive Back for the Venom. The Salina Liberty is the lone team at the top of the Northern division, so a loss to Quad City Steamwheelers this weekend would propel the winner of the Venom/Duke City game to the top of the entire CIF. The game will be broadcast on Pluto TV beginning at 7pm CST. Pictured-Xavier Amey with a catch Photo courtesy of Jason Helmick
